An entertainment and story universe created by Viral Virtue, Inc.
Bakerloo Universe™ is the name we use to refer to all of the stories, scripts, and related entertainment projects we create and offer through this and our related websites, including TV and film scripts we develop for licensing, production, and consulting engagements.
It is the totality of all serious and fictional works by Brooke Allen and collaborators that are connected to the pen names Len Bakerloo™ and Alex Bakerloo™.
Within this universe, we assert intellectual property rights in the original characters, settings, and story devices described here and in our related works (including, but not limited to, movies, TV series, games, books, songs, and online content). These include, but are not limited to: Alex (the bot), Bakerloo (Brooke Allen’s avatar in this fictional world), Marion, Barnes, Suzanne, Leonard, Luna, Dick, Luna’s Cat, Faith, Foster, and Gemina, who all reside in and around the fictional town of Savona, New Jersey.
For inquiries about scripts, licensing, or collaborations set in the Bakerloo Universe™, please contact us at: Alex@AlexBakerloo.com.
Fan Fiction and the Bakerloo-Adjacent Universe
We’re grateful for anyone who cares enough about the Bakerloo Universe™ to want to play in or around it. This section is meant to make that easier, while also protecting the core story and characters that Viral Virtue, Inc. is responsible for.
1. Bakerloo Universe vs. Bakerloo-Adjacent
- The Bakerloo Universe™ is the official world that includes:
- Savona, New Jersey,
- Alex, Bakerloo, Marion, Barnes, Suzanne, Leonard, Luna, Dick, Luna’s Cat, Faith, Foster, Gemina, and other core characters and story devices we introduce over time.
- We encourage writers to create stories in what we call the Bakerloo-Adjacent Universe:
- Your own towns, households, communities, workplaces.
- Your own humans, bots, hybrids, and institutions.
- Characters who may know about Eden by Alex, follow its principles, criticize it, remix it, or ignore it entirely.
Think of it this way: our job is to tend Savona and its residents. Your job, if you wish, is to imagine what happens when similar ideas take root somewhere else.
2. What you may do
You are welcome to:
- Create original characters and settings that:
- Are inspired by the themes of Eden by Alex,
- Wrestle with similar ethical and emotional questions,
- Try (and fail, and try again) to “live by design, not by default.”
- Refer to the Bakerloo Universe at a distance, for example:
- A character who watches Eden by Alex as an in-universe show,
- A book club that reads a “Bakerloo Universe” story,
- A teacher who uses Greenhouse Maxims-style prompts in a classroom.
- Post your work publicly on fan-fiction or screenplay platforms, on your own site, or elsewhere, as long as you:
- Make it clear it is unofficial fan work, and
- Do not present yourself as speaking for Viral Virtue, Inc. or the creators of Eden by Alex.
We’re happy if your stories help the underlying principles travel farther than we ever could alone.
3. What we ask you not to do
To protect the clarity of the official canon and avoid confusing readers:
- Please do not present work as if:
- It is an official episode, spin-off, or tie-in approved by Viral Virtue, Inc.,
- You are writing as Alex, Len, or any of the in-world authors.
- Please do not:
- Reboot or take over core characters (Alex, Bakerloo, Marion, Barnes, Suzanne, Leonard, Luna, Dick, Luna’s Cat, Faith, Foster, Gemina, etc.) as if you own them or can branch “official continuities” from them.
- Use our logos, trademarks, or trade dress in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.
You can refer to these characters, criticize them, love them, or argue with them—but the canonical versions live inside works published or licensed by Viral Virtue, Inc.
4. Ownership of your stories vs. our underlying IP
- You own your original expression:
Your own plots, characters, dialogue, settings, and scenes in your Bakerloo-Adjacent stories belong to you. - We retain ownership of the underlying IP:
The Bakerloo Universe™, its core characters, names, and story devices, and the Eden by Alex concept and related properties.
If one of your ideas ever overlaps with something we’ve been developing independently, that doesn’t mean we “stole” it; there is a lot of convergent evolution around shared themes. If we ever become interested in directly adapting a specific fan-created storyline, we would reach out to you and work out an agreement rather than quietly lifting it.
5. If you want us to know about your work
At some point we may create ways for fans to invite “the Bakerloo household” to visit their Bakerloo-Adjacent worlds—e.g., AI-generated commentary or in-character reactions to your stories.
Until then, if you have any questions, want to tell us about something you’ve created that you’d like us to know about, or you have suggestions for things we can produce that might help you or your characters live better lives, feel free to write to us at: Alex@AlexBakerloo.com.
